NEW: AnyGo is now Bero, your favorite trip cost comparision tool!

How to use Bero

The team at Bero is grateful for your support in using our online service!

Here is a quick and detailed tutorial on how to use the app:

On the left hand input field, type in the city that you are traveling from. This will be the city that you plan to leave from when going on your vacation.

On the right hand input field, type in the city that you will be traveling to. This is your destination city. Once you are finished, click the search button.

Your trip results

At the top of the page, you should see three cards: Your flight costs, driving costs, and total distance travled. We also went ahead and provided links to other services so you can go ahead and get started planning your trip.

We are not sponsored by any of these companies and recieve no comission if you purchase from them by clicking on the link.

Change your selected cities

If you would like to see how much it will cost you to go to another city, simply click on the "change" button, and change either the city that you are arriving from or traveling to. Once finished, click "compare" to see your new results.

We also took the liberty of adding the map, which shows you your two cities and updates as you change your desired cities. We actually got the idea from another website, Distance Between Cities, which is another helpful online tool, and wanted to implement the same type of feature into our app.

Flying calculations

On the left hand side (top on mobile) , you will see how much it will cost you to fly to your desired city. You will first see the total trip cost, followed by the amount of days that you will be traveling, the number of people traveling, cost per plane ticket, amount of flight stops, rental car cost, meal costs, and travel distance.

Where did these figures come from?

The average plane ticket cost was based on a algorithim that took into account your distance from the city that you are traveling to, and multiplied that number by $100 per 500 miles that you travel. Test this formula on any plane ticket cost and you will see it to be pretty accurate.

To calculate flight costs, we added all the above figures together and multiplied it by the amount of people traveling.

Driving calculations

On the right hand side (top on mobile) , you will see how much it will cost you to drive to your desired city. You will first see the total trip cost, followed by the cost of gas, miles per gallon of your car, average toll cost (which is factored into the final cost due to a formula we came up with that for every 50 miles traveled, there is one toll.).

You will also see how much it will cost you to stay at a hotel per night (right now limited to one room or Airbnb), miles per day that you plan to drive on average until you reach your destination, and the meal cost per person per day.

Where did these figures come from?

The aveage driving cost was calculated like this: Take your gas costs, add it to the toll costs, and add in the meal costs and hotel costs. Thie gives a rough estimate of how much it will cost you to drive to your destination.
